Felting Recap

We had a great felting class on saturday. New people came, and one wants to teach a future Turkish Cooking class at THS which would be so fun.

When THS has a store I think a craft category for supplies, original kits, and such would be fun.

Thanks to our teacher Karin Ling! She will be back to teach again.

Weekend fun from Kimonobox

There are some good writers on the blogs these days covering the fun and wonderful aspects of Japan. One blog I read is called KimonoBox. Lots of good stories. Kind of a journal, and Japan-boingboing rolled into one.

Love this piece today about these traditional Japanese dolls called Kokeshi re-invented by the geek-starwars crowd!

Totally fun. I want them!

what are you doing this weekend?
