Make, Cure, and Smoke your own Bacon right here in Tokyo! This is a two part class.
Come learn the basics of curing and smoking meat, esp. making your own bacon. Two part class will include how to make your own Cure, how to cure and prepare your pork and finally how to smoke and transform pork into bacon for home deliciousness.
We will provide
Pork bellies for curing and smoking,
Supplies for Curing
Class materials that you can use in the future
Demonstrations for each part of the process
Smoking time and supplies
And Delicious samples to try along the way.
Class size is limited to 10 people
Meetings will be a Thurs Evening for 1.5 hours and a Sat. afternoon for 2 hrs.
Most materials will be provided, BUT you need to provide your own Non-reactive metal pan (like a cake pan)
Cost 3500 yen for Non THS Members
