This workshop is a basic introduction to soldering.
We will practice soldering various components onto perforated circuit board.
It is ok to make mistakes, as we will not be constructing a working circuit, just playing around and getting comfortable.
Also, we will practice soldering a few wires together using different methods.
Finally, if time allows, we will DE-solder a few parts (remove them from the board).
A final project will include a 9 volt battery powered LED array (4 RED LEDs in a forward facing arrangement), suitable to be made into a flashlight, emergency beacon, or other project.
This class is also recomended for younger people, from 12 and up!
