Come join us at TokyoHackerspace as we practise our basic soldering skills! For this month's hack-a-long we will have kits available for building (or unbuilding, if you prefer).
We have a selection of kits provided by the awesome Mitch Altman. Whether you want to build an LED display, make cool noises with a pencil, or start your own electronics project, we're here to help you learn and make.

Kits will be sold at the hack-a-long if you don't have your own. Soldering irons and equipment are available for use at the hackerspace.

This workshop is a basic introduction to soldering.

We will practice soldering various components onto perforated circuit board.
It is ok to make mistakes, as we will not be constructing a working circuit, just playing around and getting comfortable.

Also, we will practice soldering a few wires together using different methods.

Finally, if time allows, we will DE-solder a few parts (remove them from the board).
