Stick around after Electronics 101 for a screening of Bre Pettis' (of NYCResistor/Makerbot - CupCake fame) pilot on the History channel, "History Hacker."

The show never got picked up by the Hitler (ahem History) channel, but it would have made a great show.

In the pilot, Bre explores the dynamic between Tesla and Edison.

Some hacks and projects included in the episode include:
Making a bicycle AC generator
Blowing glass bulbs
Exploring the Edison DC grid in New York

The Electronics 101 class is your chance to learn the basics of electronic circuits from the pros.
Even if you have no idea what a resistor is, or have never picked up a soldering iron before, you can do it all, with a just a little bit of help.

このクラスは、あなたが基本的な電子工作プロジェクトを自分で始める事ができるようになるのを目標としています。基本的なコンポーネントや、シンボル、ディジタル/アナログ信号について学び、回路の解析のやり方もやる予定です。

たとえば、計画図から動作する回路を作るにはどうしたらいいか。プロトタイピングをもっと簡単にする便利な小ネタとかを教えちゃいます。ブレッドボードとLEDを使ってフラッシュぴかぴかな回路を作ってみよう。
